Concept
A residence with free flowing and interconnected spaces designed inside out and outside in.
The Design The residence is designed in harmony with the given site. The plan is a ‘U’ shape at the ground floor overlapped by an ‘L’ shape at the upper with a lawn in the central part. The ground floor wraps around the lawn giving the lawn a much needed privacy and a feel of a cozy courtyard. Proportions of these two shapes are designed in such a fashion that an overall combination is an interesting built form.
The entrance lobby welcomes every one with a water fountain at the focal point and is flanked by private areas on the right, guest areas on the left and drawing room in the front thus connecting/separating the living and the drawing providing required privacy to both. The dining and bar areas again connect the two at a more conducive level. Master bed room and kitchen acquire the SW and SE areas respectively.
