Aashirwad
Located in outskirts of Ahmedabad, "Aashirwad" is a first house of Chinubhai Patel and Family. This house is conceptualized as an open house connected to outside, which has been achieved by arranging series of open bays of spaces connected by a corridor wrapped around a central garden. All spaces are visually connected with each other internally through open plan, corridors, double volumes and it's folded layout.
Elements & Materials
Series of waterbodies finished in blue spectrums of china mosaics wrap around central garden and corridors reflects shades of sky. Full heighted glass, extended floor lines and almost no level differences between inside and out side escalates experience of open plan. Fine tile work on external surfaces provides unique texture and contrast to the elements. Pitched roof profile over various spaces forms a picturesque skyline.
